Cataract surgery restores vision effectively in patients, where the lens transparency has decreased, most of all due to age, in some cases also earlier.

Nevertheless, after lens implantation there is always a number of patients which are affected by the secondary cataract phenomena. The visual acuity gets less again due to a cell growing and requires additional treatment.

We offer the Q-Las laser to restore the patients vision again.

The second most common use of the Q-Las laser is the iridotomy. In case of an angle block glaucoma a small hole is created in the iris to equal the intraocular pressure in the anterior and posterior chamber and therefore to dissolve the occurence of the angle block.
