Lasers for Otology

Laser and ENT are closely linked. Nowadays it is possible to carry out a vast number of surgeries thanks to the laser therapy. We provide the most suitable laser – no matter for clinical or ambulant purposes.

The number of laser treatments in the field of ENT is rising for several years now. Thanks to this innovative technology various applications are taking place office or theater based. A.R.C. Laser is offering the right laser instrument that meets your needs: Diode, KTP or CO2.

Example of application:

Performing the Stapes Surgery with the laser can be supported by a laser scanner system. The inexpensive alternative would be a manual procedure with fiber optics. The surgery is performed to "drill a hole" into thefootplate to vaporize parts of the stapes and the remainder of the stapes is removed. This operation is usually performed under local anesthesia and requires but a short period of hospitalization and convalescence. A prosthesis or implant is then placed into this opening and connected to the second hearing bone, or the incus to improve hearing again.

Various treatments can be applied with an A.R.C. Laser:

  • Cholesteatomas
  • Stapes surgery
  • Close Stapesprothesen
  • Mucosa-coagulation
  • Paracenteses, myringotomy
  • Vascular lesions
  • Hemangiomas
  • Telangiectasia
  • Tumor vaporization
